The Faculty of Dentistry at Eastern Mediterranean University offers an internationally oriented Undergraduate Dentistry Program designed to train highly skilled dental professionals. In partnership with the University of Health Sciences, Turkey, this program provides students with a unique combination of international exposure and advanced clinical training.
To graduate, students must successfully complete 87 courses in accordance with the Eastern Mediterranean University Education, Examination, and Success Regulations. The first two years are spent at Eastern Mediterranean University, Faculty of Dentistry, in Famagusta, T.R.N.C., where instruction is provided in English. During this period, students build a strong foundation in basic and preclinical sciences essential for modern dentistry.
The final three years of the program are completed at the University of Health Sciences, School of Dentistry, in Ankara, Turkey, with instruction in Turkish. This phase focuses on advanced clinical training, practical experience, and exposure to cutting-edge dental techniques in real-world healthcare settings.
Students who successfully complete the program are awarded a joint diploma from both Eastern Mediterranean University and the University of Health Sciences, reflecting the rigorous academic standards and international recognition of the program. The program is also officially recognized by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK), ensuring its compliance with national academic standards and its validity within Turkey.
